More then 40.000 douaniers, used

against armies of smugglers and

enemies soldiers. Their story.

Douanes Imperiales at Facebook

 

 

 

 

 

The golden bee, as a symbol already used by the Merovingian rulers in France of the 4th

and 5th century. Napoleon, from childhood very interested in ancient history used this

symbol also in his own family weapon and on the flags of the French army regiments.
